CUPS Frozen Yogurt has rolled out two pink flavors and several limited pink toppings for the month of October in support of Susan G. Komen for the Cure North Jersey. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of Very Strawberry and Pomegranate Raspberry Sorbet flavors will benefit the charity with a minimum $5,000 donation. Proceeds from special $20 “Save the Tatas, Fill Your Cup” pink t-shirts will also be donated.
Our Take:
CUPS Yogurt has had fun aligning their regional brand with a branch of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. While we applaud CUPS for their creative marketing and minimum donation disclosure, it would be nice for pink-yogurt buying consumers to know how much of their purchase is directed to the charity. Kudos for a prominent website positioning on the CUPS website.
