Whole Kids Foundation, organic apparel company PACT and crowd funding site Indiegogo have joined forces to create an initiative with the goal of building 100 urban gardens across the United States. Whole Foods’ Foundation will facilitate the grants and PACT will provide perks to users that pledge dollars toward garden projects on the Indiegogo platform.
Our Take:
This partnership is a noteworthy example of how several brands working together can effectively harness the power of crowd funding to amplify a cause-focused initiative. By asking each partner to execute against their area of expertise, the end result is a well-oiled experience for the user that ultimately makes more sense for the cause.
