The New Age Of Activism: Rallying Key Audiences Around Legislative Action

This webinar is FREE thanks to sponsorship by Rocket Social Impact

Nonprofits and companies alike can be hesitant to step into the activism space. And between social media and broader awareness of social issues, activism looks different than it did several years ago.

Despite the considerations and risks associated with this work, more and more organizations are choosing to rally resources around legislative support (or opposition) in ways that are authentically aligned with their work and mission.

So how can you best engage your key audiences — corporate partners, employees and patrons — in this new age of activism to achieve societal and organizational goals? Rocket Social Impact’s Melanie Newell, Share Our Strength | No Kid Hungry’s Sara Jamshidi, Bobbie for Change’s Michele Lampach, Moms First’s Molly Day and theSkimm’s Sonal Patel will answer this question and more.

You will learn:

  • Key insights on what is most effective for mobilizing companies around advocacy initiatives
  • How to position and package political activism and issue advocacy as an engagement tactic for employee audiences
  • How leading organizations are championing activism, mitigating risk and maximizing impact
