Smucker's® Natural Peanut Butter Donates $100,000 to Help Preserve America's National Parks
ORRVILLE, Ohio, July 30, 2015 PRNewswire/ — Smucker’s® Natural Peanut Butter is once again supporting National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA) to make a natural difference. In the brand’s fourth consecutive year of sponsorship, Smucker’s Natural Peanut Butter will donate $100,000 to NPCA. The donation will support projects like America’s Great Waters, a program that protects the health of the waters in and around national parks.
“We are proud to continue our partnership with NPCA and support their efforts to conserve the natural beauty of our country’s national parks,” said Maribeth Burns, Vice President, Corporate Communications, The J.M. Smucker Company. “We encourage families to get out and explore their closest park and find new ways to make a natural difference in their homes and communities.”
NPCA is committed to educating, engaging and empowering new national park advocates to ensure America’s favorite places continue to thrive. In support of this commitment, the organization has launched the Find Your Voice campaign, which seeks to empower individuals to make a natural difference in support of their national parks.
“We are thrilled to see our partnership with Smucker’s Natural Peanut Butter continue for another year,” says Carrie Smith, Senior Director, Corporate Partnerships, Marketing & Licensing for National Parks Conservation Association. “It is with partners like Smucker’s that we are able to launch initiatives like the Find Your Voice Campaign. It is our hope that this effort will inspire the next generation of both national park visitors and national park advocates.”
