MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 5, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — Popcards, the newest innovation in greeting cards since the digital photo has announced a partnership with Children’s Cancer Research Fund (CCRF), a national nonprofit organization dedicated to eliminating childhood cancer by funding leading-edge research in the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and cure of childhood cancers and blood-related disorders.
Popcards and CCRF, will be celebrating the partnership kick-off at CCRF’s annual Gala, Dawn of the Dream, being held at The Depot in Minneapolis on November 7.

With the Popcards App, you can create printed greeting cards that come to life with an augmented reality video experience. With the app the user can simultaneously take a photo and record a personal video. The photo is printed on the greeting card with a personal message. $1 will be donated to Children’s Cancer Research Fund for every card ordered. The overall goal is to raise $25,000 for CCRF and to #PopCancerForever.

Open the app, select “Create,” then start the camera.
The camera takes 5 stills, then starts recording the video.
Select one of the still photos for your greeting card.
Choose a themed template and write a personal message.
Cards are printed and shipped in 1 business day for as little as $1.69 per card.
