Happy Summer!
For those of you who joined us in Chicago for our largest-ever Engage for Good conference – THANK YOU for making it an incredible, memorable event (if you missed it you can still grab the virtual conference pass here to watch all the keynotes and listen to all the breakout sessions).
A conference highlight each year is listening to the incredible Halo Award winners during the Halo Luncheon (see all of this year’s winners here). One of the featured speakers this year was The Trevor Project’s Muneer Panjwani, who shared a moving story about why his organization’s mission of providing crisis intervention services to LGBTQ youth is so personal to him and how they successfully partnered with AT&T to overhaul their digital platform in order to provide 24/7 access to their text and chat services to youth in crisis.
In his Halo Spotlight, Muneer also shared lessons learned from this unique partnership between The Trevor Project and AT&T. In honor of pride month and The Trevor Project’s important work in the world, we thought it appropriate to share Muneer’s remarks with you, which you can see in this video (click here or the image below to go to the video).
Please join me in congratulating The Trevor Project and AT&T on this fantastic collaboration!
