The Corporate Social Mind Research Report examines the public’s expectations of business in a new era created by the pandemic (COVID-19) and intense focus on racial equity, how companies should approach the development of goods and services in the face of these expectations and how a social mindset should be woven throughout every company.
The report which surveyed 1,004 respondents in June of 2020 found that:
- More than 50% of Americans believe companies should share their position on social issues.
- Almost 60% of the public wants companies to give an opinion specifically on racial equity,
social justice and anti-discrimination. - When a company creates a new product, good or service, 26% expect that company to study how the product, good or service will impact employees.
