This evolution was informed by new research commissioned by Cartoon Network and created in consultation with the Making Caring Common Project of the Harvard Graduate School of Education. The research surveyed kids directly about the current state of bullying and ways to help prevent it.
In their search for a subject matter expert, Cartoon Network found a meaningful connection with 826 National, the largest youth writing network in the country. 826 provides close to 80,000 students ages 6 to 18 each year in under-resourced communities with opportunities to explore creativity and improve their writing skills. Both brands’ values of elevating youth voice, fostering creativity, and sharing stories around kindness and inclusion aligned, making 826 National the perfect partner for Cartoon Network.
This webinar shares this unique partnership and how, over the past three years, Cartoon Network and 826 National have tapped into the power of storytelling to inspire youth through social-emotional learning; engage them around kindness, empathy, and inclusion; and amplify their voices as part of the solution. In sharing their story of values-driven collaboration, they invite you to envision your own.
