The Whole Planet Foundation has released their 2014 calendars, which support their microlending programs and feature photos of microcredit clients from 13 of the 57 countries where the Whole Foods supported nonprofit funds microlending projects. The calendars cost $4 apiece and include $44 worth of coupons for natural and organic products. Since 2006, calendar sales have generated more than $610,000 for the foundation. This year, they aim to raise an additional $280,000 through calendar sales.

This cause marketing example shows how powerful and simple a well-crafted effort can be. Visual. Impact-centered. Effective in raising money and awareness and providing reciprocal benefit to consumers in the form of valuable coupons.
