Footwear brand launches program to inspire smiles and trials among fans
IRVINE, Calif., March 24, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — Sanuk®, a division of Deckers Brands (NYSE: DECK), the not-so-typical footwear brand known for its iconic sandal/shoe hybrid the Sidewalk Surfer® and Yoga Mat sandals, announced today an expanded version of their marketing initiative, Try ‘Em On For Sighs. Rolling out this week in select retail locations nationwide, the campaign rewards participants for trying on any pair of the brand’s footwear and sharing their experience on Instagram.
Starting this week through January 8, 2016, consumers who try on any pair of Sanuk® footwear at participating retail locations and share a photo on Instagram with the tags #TryEmOnForSighs, @SanukFootwear and their location will automatically be entered to win in two ways:
Every Friday during contest period, one randomly selected photo submission will be highlighted on the brand’s social media channels and participant will win a free pair of shoes from the women’s Kat Collection or the men’s Boulevard Collection.
Weekly winners will be automatically entered to win the grand prize of a trip for two to Oahu, Hawaii including tickets to the February 2016 Wanderlust Festival and Sanuk footwear for a year.
Additionally, for every photo tagged, Sanuk® will donate one dollar to Operation Smile, an international children’s medical charity that performs safe, effective cleft lip and cleft palate surgery to children in low and middle-income countries.
