Friend,
Still wondering whether influencers are important to your social good efforts?
In a recent webinar digging into Allison + Partners’ ‘Powerful Connections’ research on influencers, we learned that consumers who care about cause are consumers that follow digital influencers.
According to the study, three quarters (75%) of consumers that follow influencers, rate ‘being purpose-driven’ as ‘extremely/very important’ (compared to 66% who did not follow influencers). Tweet this.
And, perhaps more importantly, those influencer-following consumers are willing to take action: of followers that have engaged with a cause due to an influencer’s recommendation:
52% shared awareness about the cause Tweet this.
51% made a financial donation Tweet this.
47% made a donation of goods Tweet this.
37% volunteered Tweet this.
We had such amazing interest in this webinar that we decided to do a deeper dive into HOW, specifically, to engage influencers for good.
Be sure to catch this month’s October 18th webinar: INFLUENCERS: How the heck does this work? with Good Amplified’s Amber J. Lawson.
And pat yourself on the back if you’re an Engage for Good member because that means this webinar is FREE to you. If you’re not yet a member, don’t worry…you can sign up to join the EFG community when you register for this webinar.
