Jostens to Donate a Tree for Every Yearbook Purchased Online on April 24
MINNEAPOLIS, April 20, 2015 /PR Newswire/ — With Arbor Day approaching, Jostens, the leading provider of publications, jewelry and consumer goods serving the K-12 and college market, today with The Nature Conservancy announced a yearbook promotion aimed at planting much-needed trees in forests. Through the Yearbook Plant Back™ promotion, Jostens will plant one tree for every Jostens yearbook purchased online at Jostens.com on April 24, 2015. Up to 5,000 trees will be planted as part of the Conservancy’s ‘Plant a Billion Trees’ program. This represents the most donated trees resulting from a single-day promotion on behalf of the Conservancy.
The ‘Plant a Billion Trees’ program is turning the tide on deforestation by planting trees and bringing forests back from the brink. Tree by tree, acre by acre, The Nature Conservancy is working to ensure forests are here for future generations.
