EFG transitioned to new leadership in 2023 with an exciting and ambitious vision for how we can better support the social impact sector. Our team has tripled in size, and with early success of our new ideas, we are gearing up to grow our impact considerably in 2025.
About the role: The Senior Manager of Digital Media & Content is a new role at EFG and will oversee digital content strategy, content creation, and distribution across EFG’s online channels, enhancing brand presence and audience engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in content creation, a deep understanding of corporate philanthropy and nonprofit partnerships, digital media management, and a passion for social impact. This role requires creativity, strategic thinking, and a collaborative approach to cross-functional projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Strategy Development
- Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with Engage for Good’s business goals, including developing content themes and brand voice positioning EFG as an expert in the CSI sector.
- Stay up-to-date on trends in corporate philanthropy, social impact, and nonprofit partnerships to identify topics, trends, speakers, case studies to feature in EFG webinars, podcasts, conferences, and other events.
- Collaborate closely with EFGs partners to develop content marketing plans that add value to EFG’s audience and help partners reach their business goals.
Content Production & Management
- Collaborate with SME to produce high-quality, engaging, and relevant content, such as articles, guides, toolkits, newsletters, social media posts, videos, webinars, podcasts, and blogs.
- Create and manage a robust content calendar, expertly coordinating between EFG and partner priorities.
- Incorporate generative AI and other innovative technologies to improve the speed, quality, and relevance of content to various audiences.
- Manage EFG’s resource library ensuring all content remains accessible and relevant.
Audience Engagement & Community Building
- Grow Engage for Good’s online presence through innovative audience engagement strategies
- Lead content-driven campaigns to promote Engage for Good’s conferences, membership, educational resources, and consulting services.
- Develop strategies to increase engagement with key stakeholders, such as corporate social responsibility professionals, nonprofits, and industry leaders.
Performance Analysis & Reporting
- Use analytics tools to measure the success of content and campaigns, gather insights on audience behavior, and adjust strategies based on performance metrics like engagement rates conversion, reach, and ROI.
- Work with SEO best practices to ensure content is discoverable by the target audience. Optimize content for search engines, making adjustments as algorithms change.
Brand Voice & Messaging
- Maintain and refine Engage for Good’s brand voice, ensuring all content aligns with brand guidelines and maintains a consistent tone and message across channels.
- Develop content guidelines that align with the brand’s values, tone, and style, helping team members and partners deliver consistent messaging.
Who You Are:
- Subject Matter Expert: You have 5-7+ years of experience in CSR, ESG, Nonprofit partnerships, and/or corporate philanthropy. You are familiar with issues, trends in each and have a desire to become a subject matter expert in these topics.
- Experienced: You have proven experience in developing and executing content strategies that drive engagement across digital channels.
- Exceptional Writer: You are an accomplished writer and editor with the ability to create clear, compelling, and impactful content for a targeted audience. You can take complex ideas and make them accessible to a wide audience. You know how to find “the voice” of a brand, and make it come alive across platforms.
- Tech Savvy: You have experience with content management systems, learning management systems, social media platforms (particularly LinkedIn and Instagram), and analytics tools. You are familiar with SEO best practices and content performance metrics.
- Mission-Driven: You believe in the power of corporate philanthropy to drive positive change and are excited to play a role in expanding the impact of Engage for Good. You align with our values and have a strong commitment to social impact.
- Project Manager: You’re obsessed with building processes and systems to manage multiple projects. You’re a pro at multitasking, and focus on the details. You know how to get internal and external stakeholders aligned, and get projects to the finish line.
- Data-Driven Decision Maker: You use data and analytics to guide your decisions, identify trends, and measure success of your content. You’re skilled at interpreting metrics and using them to adjust your strategies for optimal performance.
- Creative Storyteller: You know how to craft compelling narratives and engaging content that resonates with diverse audiences. You have a knack for storytelling and can articulate complex ideas in a simple, impactful way.
- Collaborative Team Player: You thrive in a team environment and can inspire and influence your collaborators. You work well with cross-functional teams, appreciate diverse perspectives, and foster a culture of collaboration.
- Relationship Builder: You’re skilled at building and nurturing relationships both internally and externally. You enjoy collaborating with partners, agencies, influencers, and industry leaders to amplify your brand’s reach and impact.
- Results-Oriented: You have a track record of delivering successful campaigns and meeting (or exceeding) key performance indicators. You’re driven by goals and are motivated by achieving measurable outcomes.
Compensation and Benefits:
- $80,000-$90,000/year depending on experience
- 100% of the premium paid by the company for health, dental, and vision insurance.
- 20 days PTO (15 vacation and 5 sick days with flexible usage)
- 9 Paid Holidays plus your birthday and the week between Christmas and New Years.
- Flat 5% of your salary into your company IRA account at the end of the year.
- $1,500 to spend on your professional development.
- Work from anywhere in the US with flexibility to work for a few months abroad.
