Reporting to the Sr. Director of Prospect Development, the Senior Manager, Prospect Research leads a comprehensive prospect research program, offering strategic research services, resources, tools and training to fundraisers across the organization to inform smart, insight-based individual, foundation and corporate acquisition, engagement, solicitation and stewardship. Drawing upon their industry experience, the position works closely with frontline major gift fundraisers to achieve their goals by revealing prospect financial capacity, philanthropic tendencies, and linkages to MS and Society’s priorities through proactive and reactive research. The position also innovates systematic research practices to develop and expand proactive prospect pipelines that increase opportunity velocity and contributes expertise as a Society data integrity stakeholder to influence improvements that will improve the effectiveness of comprehensive prospect development strategies.
The Senior Manager, Prospect Research provides training and leadership for prospect research support staff in a matrix structure, and directly manages an ongoing team of prospect research interns.
