Health360 hosts several AmeriCorps National Service Programs that take a community-based approach to our nation’s mental health crisis. AmeriCorps members are recruited, trained, and deployed in communities across the nation implementing evidence-based programs that tackle health disparities in underserved communities.
Overview of the role:
Health360 is at an exciting time of growth with interest from a wide network of funders and partners. The Director of Development will lead all development activities to inspire, engage, and sustain current and new funders to support the organization’s impactful health equity programs, particularly its rapidly growing AmeriCorps program: Healthy Mind Alliance.
Reporting to and in partnership with the Executive Director, the Director of Development will build and execute a comprehensive fundraising plan to increase corporate, individual, and government funding. An ideal role for a rising development leader, the Director will have the opportunity to build the overall vision, strategy, approach, and processes for the development function in a fast-growing organization. As the organization’s funding and programs expand, the Director will have the opportunity to build a team to support a growing portfolio of donors and partners.
The Director will be a self-starter, and take an entrepreneurial approach that leverages Health360’s value proposition to appeal to a variety of funders. The candidate will build strong, mutually beneficial partnerships with funders and ensure efficient, scalable, and collaborative processes and systems are providing the best experience to all who invest in our work.
Who you are:

- Experienced: You have at least 4-6 years of proven history of raising increasing funds from individuals, corporate partners, foundations, and/or government agencies. You’ve built systems and processes to track, steward, and renew funders, and have developed pitch decks, one sheets, and proposals that clearly communicate why a funder should support an organization.
- Strategic Thinker: Your approach is methodical and detail-oriented, with an emphasis on forward-thinking and continuous improvement. You meticulously plan and execute tasks, aiming to enhance both yourself and the team’s impact.

What you’ll do
- Develop and oversee the vision, strategy, and approach for all development activities including corporate, government, foundation, and individual fundraising.
- Manage current portfolio of individual, corporate, foundations, and government stakeholders ensuring Health360 exceeds expectations on all deliverables.
- Lead partnership conversations with current and potential partners including building strategy, leading pitches, identifying new opportunities, and ultimately working towards substantial growth from diverse revenue sources.
- Build and manage strong processes for database management on Salesforce in partnership with database entry and gift processing staff.
- Work alongside internal teams to build efficient and collaborative processes and systems to support fundraising needs. Identify resources needed to succeed and partner with senior management to develop resource plans for long-term success.
- Oversee the development and implementation of marketing deliverables for fundraising activities.
- Develop compelling proposals working alongside program and finance leadership. Track partnership impact against our goals in collaboration with program, finance, and marketing teams to communicate back to partners and show our progress.
- Develop and manage stewardship programs that create consistent, high-impact touchpoints with donors/partners through email, webinars, in-person events/meetings, and more.
- Develop Health360’s annual report, impact reports, and other stakeholder reports.
- Travel approximately 10-15% of the time for pitch/partner meetings, industry conferences and events, and other business needs.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $80,000
- Health, vision, and dental insurance plan – An allowance for the standard company health, vision and dental insurance coverage are supplied per company policy. Employee contribution to payment for benefit plans is determined annually.
- Paid vacation and sick time – Vacation is accrued at 2.69 hours per pay period, which is equivalent to two weeks (70 hours) on an annual basis. The company observes ten paid holidays each year: Employees have 10 days of paid sick time annually.
- 401k with company contribution after 1 year of employment
