EFG transitioned to new leadership in 2023 with an exciting and ambitious vision for how we can better support the social impact sector. Our team has tripled in size, and with the early success of our new ideas, we are gearing up to grow our impact considerably in 2025.
About the role: The Administrative Assistant is an integral part of the Events & Community team at Engage for Good. This part-time role provides essential support in EFG’s day-to-day operations, which include customer service, database management, membership management, and conference logistics. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and possesses excellent communication skills. This role requires a proactive problem-solver with a strong ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Membership

- Customer Service:
- Monitor and respond to inquiries received via customer service emails in a timely and professional manner, forwarding complex issues to appropriate team members.
- Review and respond to inquiries submitted through the website’s contact form, ensuring prompt and accurate information.
- Suggest ways to improve and streamline our customer service processes
- Membership Management:
- Support member onboarding and renewals, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
- Update member accounts, including adding, updating, and removing select memberships.
- Support integration of new members into workflows with other departments.
- Database Management:
- Develop a strong understanding of the MemberClicks (Personify) CRM system to assist team members with questions and troubleshooting.
- Regularly clean up and maintain the prospect database in MemberClicks to ensure accurate data and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop reports, build forms, import leads, and serve as the database subject matter expert.
- Invoicing:
- Manage all invoice creation, tracking, and reissuing, including promptly responding to invoice-related inquiries.
- Job Postings:
- Review and approve job postings submitted by external organizations, ensuring they meet EFG’s standards before publishing them on the job board.

- Support the EFG team in executing administrative tasks for a variety of projects as required, including basic research, data entry, outreach, and more. You may be asked to manage the CEO’s schedule from time to time.
Conference Support
- Conference Registration:
- Create and manage online registration forms for conferences using MemberClicks.
- Track registrations, monitor payments, and follow up on outstanding invoices.
- Support onsite registration at conference, including badge printing and distribution pre-event and on-site.
- Conference Logistics:
- Order and track conference supplies, ensuring timely delivery and adequate inventory.
- Assist with other logistical tasks as needed to support successful conference execution.
Who You Are:
- Experienced: You have at least 1-2 years of administrative experience through other FT roles, internships, and/or part-time roles.
- Detail-Oriented: You possess exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Problem-Solver: You are proactive in identifying and resolving issues, demonstrating initiative and resourcefulness.
- Tech Savvy: You are comfortable using various software applications, including CRM systems (like MemberClicks) and Microsoft Excel (strong formula knowledge preferred).
- Excellent Communicator: You have strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to interact professionally with members, partners, and colleagues.
- Organized and Efficient: You are highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Team Player: You thrive in a collaborative environment and are willing to contribute to the team’s success across various projects.
- Mission-Driven: You are passionate about social impact and align with Engage for Good’s values.
Compensation and Benefits:
- $15-21 per hour (depending on experience)
