Smile Brands Inc. is one of the nation’s leading providers of business support services to dental groups in the United States.
The Smiles for Everyone Foundation provides free dental care to low income, underinsured individuals in multiple states across the U.S. as well as in six other countries with sever needs around the world.Their unique relationship with Smile Brands Inc. and its affiliated dental offices and employees allows the Foundation to provide quality care to thousands of people in need every year.
Every year, Smile Brands Inc. affiliated offices partner with the Smiles for Everyone Foundation to host free dental clinics at their facilities all across the country. All Smile Brands Inc. markets host at least one event a year, totaling roughly 30 opportunities for team members to participate. Each market chooses to host the clinic at an office that is central to both patients and volunteers, to ensure that the greatest number of people in need can access the clinic, and as many team members that are interested can participate.
Every Smile Brands affiliated provider also has the option to identify and select a patient in need every quarter to perform full restorative work pro-bono through a program called Smile Makeovers. These Smile Makeovers have helped underserved patients regain their confidence through their smile, which in turn, has assisted them in regaining employment and becoming more self-sufficient members of society.
Smile Brands Inc. and the Smiles for Everyone Foundation share the mission of delivering “smiles for everyone.” These dental clinics and makeovers, along with the international work they participate in with the Foundation, give Smile Brands Inc. employees countless opportunities to use their skills to touch the lives of numerous individuals, even those who can’t afford it.
Smile Brands Inc.’s relationship with the Smiles for Everyone Foundation has proven as beneficial in their business acquisitions, helped recruit and retain patients, gives employees a positive outlook on the company and their job and helps with employee retention.
As a result, 27,197 smiles have been delivered in 7 countries for a total of $19,762,844 in donated dentistry – $5 million in 2019 alone.
