COVID-19 Policies

As we unveil plans for the 2022 Engage for Good conference we are committed to serving you responsibly. We will:

  • Require all registrants to share proof of up-to-date Covid vaccination status, including a booster (if eligible) using CrowdPass.
  • We are monitoring local law and the pandemic’s evolution and will determine policies concerning the wearing of masks at the conference closer to the time of the event.
  • Make it easy for each of us to communicate to others our comfort level with personal contact (e.g. green sticker means I’m comfortable with a handshake or hug, yellow means let’s stick to an elbow bump, red means let’s maintain a six-foot buffer)
  • Provide ample space for social distancing at tables and in common areas


The Westin Peachtree Plaza Atlanta has also implemented a multi-pronged approach to meet the health and safety requirements of their “Commitment to Clean” standards.

Session Overviews

Session Overviews
For all sessions and workshops, a strong emphasis should be placed on the process – as opposed to just results – to demonstrate for attendees how a similar effort could be implemented at their organization. Providing tangible resources, such as worksheets or sample materials, is encouraged. All sessions will include a slide deck and key takeaways document. Both templates are in the subsequent sections.

Keynote sessions should be inspirational and provide inside knowledge, lessons learned and/or timely data. Please check the conference program for your exact speaking time. We will coordinate a time to do an on-site A/V run-through with you prior to your keynote address to ensure all looks as you expect and so that you may familiarize yourself with the set-up. Please let us know whether you prefer to speak from a podium microphone or a wireless lavaliere microphone.

Pre-Conference Summits you will work closely with us and the summit leaders to create content that blends well with the collegial nature of these gatherings.

Workshop sessions should be designed to provide in-depth, hands-on learning with concrete takeaways for attendees and significant time for group discussion and table work. The total time allotted for a workshop is 2 hours and is positioned as a working lunch. Your session should include ample time for small group discussion among peers and report-outs to the group. Please check the conference program for your exact speaking time.

Breakout sessions are 45 minutes long and must be well choreographed to deliver insights that attendees can leverage in their work. We strongly advise that you build a substantial interactive/discussion component into your session and we will be looking for directions for that activity in your presentation. Submitting Your Presentation – April 27
All presentations are required to use our slide deck template and are due Wednesday, April 27. Please clearly name your presentation (Speaker Name – Deck – Session Title) and upload it to the “2022 Submitted Presentations” Dropbox folder.

Are You Planning To Use Video?
Are you planning to use video in your presentation? We need to know and must have it in advance! Please plan to embed your videos into your slide deck and send us a copy of the actual video file. Recommended formats are .avi, ,.mp4 or .mov. Sorry, no internet video will be permitted due to low quality and buffering challenges.

We have built graphics for each session so you can promote your participation as an #EFG2022 speaker on social media. Find your session graphic in this folder. If you’re speaking in multiple sessions, you’ll have a graphic for each session (which includes all session speakers) as well as a solo graphic with both sessions in which you’re participating. If your graphic isn’t in there yet, it’s because we don’t yet have all the headshots for your session.
