Shoppers Save while Coupons.com Gives this Holiday Season
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Nov. 19, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — Quotient Technology Inc. [NYSE: QUOT], through its flagship consumer site Coupons.com, is partnering with No Kid Hungry®, a campaign from the national nonprofit Share Our Strength that works to ensure all kids get healthy food every day. Coupons.com, along with the support of household consumer packaged good brands, is giving shoppers a way to join in the fight against childhood hunger, which affects one in five children in the U.S.
Every time a shopper on Coupons.com’s platform uses a No Kid Hungry-branded coupon to save, Coupons.com contributes to No Kid Hungry. Every three coupons used equals one meal secured for a child in need.* The goal this holiday season is to fill 600,000 plates for kids.
“As difficult as it is to believe in America, we are all surrounded by children struggling with hunger every day,” said Michele Boal, Chief Philanthropy Officer of Quotient. “We love how No Kid Hungry is creating tangible solutions to tackle this serious problem that continues to threaten too many children. As we launch this holiday campaign to benefit No Kid Hungry, we are excited to continue our Coupons for Change mission to ensure that all children get a fair start in life.”
For shoppers to contribute, all they need to do is save money by finding qualified offers on Coupons.com and on the dedicated No Kid Hungry page through December 15th. Some of the great national offers from trusted brands include coupons for Kellogg’s, Diamond Foods, Campbell’s soup, Purina pet food, LaCroix Sparking Water, Lipton Recipe Secrets, Energizer batteries and many more. Through Coupons.com’s technology and vast network, people everywhere can simply save while Coupons.com gives.
“More than 16 million children in this country live in households that lack the means to get nutritious food regularly,” said Billy Shore, Share Our Strength Founder and CEO. “These children are our future. We are thankful for Coupons.com’s continued commitment and support in helping us to end childhood hunger.”
Since the campaign’s launch, No Kid Hungry and its partners have connected kids struggling with hunger with more than 460 million meals. No Kid Hungry works to connect kids with healthy meals where they live, learn and play by increasing access to school breakfast and summer meals, as well as teaching their families to cook and shop on a budget.
