For every person that visits the Hanes Facebook page between November 16 and December 12 and clicks the “Donate Now” button, Hanes will donate a pair of socks toward an overall donation goal of 250,000.
Our Take:
The fact that this is the third year for this very basic campaign suggests that this is a popular (and possibly effective) online effort for Hones. It seems additional consumer engagement could be looped in, potentially including an offline “Buy One Give One” component where Hanes products are sold.
