Only available at TOMS.com in the U.S., the online contest will select one lucky customer or fan each week to win a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to participate in a TOMS Giving Trip, where the winner will visit an international Shoe Giving Partner and help give shoes to children in the communities they serve.
Our Take:
This is a brilliant move by TOMS to further engage customers in its cause mission and create deep brand ambassadors from contest winners, while simultaneously driving sales exclusively at its corporate website. It appears that the only way to enter the contest is to purchase a pair of shoes directly from the Toms.com website and specify, upon checkout, that you’d like to enter. We think this campaign is a slam-dunk for this buy-one-give-one company.
