For the last two years, Subaru has outpaced its automotive competitors in terms of percentage sales growth and sponsored “Share The Love,” a program that enables year-end car buyers to direct a $250 Subaru donation to one of five charities.
Although the cause marketing program is not the only reason for Subaru’s success, it has been very well received by consumers and dealers and earned the company a 2009 Cause Marketing Halo Award.
