What a thrill for me to listen to the "Mother of Cause Marketing" share her deep experience and knowledge with us. As cause marketing evolves and reinvents itself, as it must, this "Hollywood" model approach makes perfect sense. The model is quite similar to Taproot Foundation’s highly successful consultancy/project approach for the nonprofit world, where experts from the for-profit world are brought together in teams to address specific needs of nonprofit organizations, all pro bono of course. Interestingly, Arron Hurst, founder of Taproot, left to found his new firm Imperative to promote The Purpose Economy social impact platform.
This is all such great news – the original leading minds (and doers!) in this world of cause and "doing good", once again taking the lead into what’s novel and next for the rest of us.
