Friend,This year, on our 15th birthday, the Cause Marketing Forum is getting a makeover. This field has changed enormously since 240 souls gathered at the first CMF conference in 2003. There’s still a huge way to go, but corporate social initiatives are becoming more long-term, integrated and strategic than the more promotional efforts we focused on back in the early days. In keeping with that evolution, we’re changing our name from Cause Marketing Forum to Engage for Good. It’s a brand that better reflects our mission of helping companies and causes succeed together by engaging consumers and employees for business and social impact. Come check out our new website – we’d love your feedback! Although our name is changing, we’re still laser-focused on providing you with practical lessons learned, convening savvy professionals and cultivating a community of sharing and generosity. Speaking of convening…we’re also thrilled to announce that pre-registration for the 2017 conference is now open. There’s a money-back guarantee for those of you that want to use 2016 budget for your registration. All of you that work at the intersection of cause and commerce are heroes to us and this year’s event will be honoring YOU and the important work you do each day. For those of you that produced stellar campaigns in 2016, you’ll be pleased to know that the Halo Award submission period is now open. It’s a thrill to share all of this news with you! From all of us at Engage for Good, we wish you and yours a joyful and relaxing holiday season. Sincerely, David Hessekiel P.S.
