To celebrate the launch of his new book LAUGHING AT WALL STREET author Chris Camillo, in partnership with nonprofit organization First Book, has committed to provide 4,000 new books for children in need during the week of November 8-14.
Our Take:
Chris Camillo is leading the publishing industry by example with this cause marketing campaign. Inspired by the buy-one-give-one movement led by TOMS shoes, Camillo sees the potential for similar impact in the publishing industry. Although a relatively small campaign, it's certainly one that could have a larger ripple effect if other authors and publishers follow suit. Kudos to Camillo for leading this cause charge.
