Build-A-Bear Workshop Bear Hugs Foundation Awards Grants to Pawsome Pet Programs Across the United States and Canada

(CSRwire) ST. LOUIS – October 9, 2007 – Build-A-Bear Workshop Bear Hugs Foundation is awarding cash grants totaling over $99,700 to 28 domestic pet programs in the United States and Canada. Funding for the grants is provided by the Bearemy’s Kennel Pals® program. Each time a Build-A-Bear Workshop® Guest purchases a full-sized Bearemy’s Kennel Pals friend—a collection of plush dogs—one dollar is donated through the Build-A-Bear Workshop Bear Hugs Foundation to local animal shelters, stray pet rescue and rehabilitation organizations, and pet education programs. ” (10/9/07)
